How to View or Edit a Milestone, or Create a Self-assigned Milestone

On the Milestones screen:

Select NewIcon to create a new self-assigned milestone.

Select View Table-View to review a selected milestone. If you need to make any changes, select Edit on the Milestone Detail screen.

Select Edit Table-Edit to make changes to a selected milestone.

Any of these options opens the Milestone Detail screen, ready for you to enter, review, or update the fields below. Then select Save to save the changes to an existing milestone or to create a new self-assigned milestone and return to the list of milestones. Select the X at the top right of the pop-up to close the Milestone Detail screen or select Cancel to close the pop-up without saving any changes.

Title

The name or Title of the milestone. Each initiative has some predefined milestones in the Training Needs Analysis that you can edit or delete, as needed. LEAD automatically assigns milestones to the owner of the initiative, though you can reassign them to other users, as needed. You can also create self-assigned milestones on the Dashboard > Milestones screen. Assigned milestones will show on the Dashboard and Milestones screens.

Initiative Title

The full name or Title of the initiative.

Location

The Initiative Location or place where the milestone will take place or will be completed.

Status

The current Status of the milestone. The following Status options are available: Not Started, In Progress, Completed, Waiting, and Deferred.

Assigned Users

The Assigned Users link allows you to select the users assigned to complete or track completion of the milestone.

Start Date

The expected Start Date of the milestone.

End Date

The expected End Date of the milestone.

Note

The Note provides additional space for more information about the milestone.
