Task Text

The Task Text of the selected entry, as provided by O*Net from the Department of Labor.

Type

The Type field shows that this is a task entry.

Task ID

The Task ID of the selected entry, as provided by O*Net from the Department of Labor.

Task Version

The Task Version number of the selected entry. This version number is created by LEAD when the data is imported. When a new version of the O*Net competency data becomes available, this number is updated, if a new version becomes available. This will also flag all instances where the entry was used in a task analysis, so you can review them and decide whether you need to make a change. If an entry is deleted from the competency data, any instances where it was used in a task analysis will likewise be flagged for your review.

Task Type

The Task Type tells you whether a task is Core or Non-Core/Supplemental. Typically, a task that is performed by the majority of people in an occupation is classified as a Core task, while one that is performed by a minority of people is classified as Non-Core or Supplemental.
